I thought I would go back to the legend himself again this week to take a look at his sample meal plan.
I am still amazed by how accurate he was decades ago about nutrition and fitness. Virtually everything he says here is right on! I may differ on his opinion about the skim milk, but I certainly didn’t suffer any adverse effects when I drank it most of my life!
He also mentions cooking the veggies in their own water vs steaming them. Although it may be a minor point, we have learned since his era that steaming does in fact retain more of the nutrients. Enjoy!
